Update - May 27th, 2026
The new prices were revealed by Vail Resorts this morning. For adults, the Epic Pass increased $30 to $1,119, and the Epic Local Pass increased $20 to $829.

Vail Resorts has announced prices for its 2026–27 Epic Pass products will increase after May 25th, 2026. Historical trends suggest the price of Epic Pass will likely rise $26 to $1,115, and Epic Local Pass pricing will go up $17 to $826.

These price increase estimates are based on an analysis of past trends, which show increases of $24, $22 and $20 for the Epic Pass in May of the previous three years. It should be noted that this year, the Epic Pass’ YoY price increase was only $38, down from $69 in 2025 and $73 in 2024. This significantly reduced YoY increase could suggest the May price increase will not fall in line with the observed trend and instead hold at $24 or even be lower.

The late May date of the price increase aligns with Vail Resorts’ typical pricing schedule, which has the first price increase around Memorial Day each year. Based on previous years, pass prices will not increase again until early September.

Note: Vail resorts has a tendency of providing a 24-30 hour grace period after their announced deadlines before increasing prices. So, if you miss the published deadline, you may still have a short window to buy at the lower price.
